Layline follows common industry guidelines and charges per foot.  We do not charge for mileage as our electric vehicle keeps things affordable.  Contact us for a quote, you may be eligible for a price reduction based on sailing affiliations (yacht club, associations, etc) or the condition of your vessel.

Yes!  We will travel to conduct a survey and we don't charge for mileage.  For surveys on the Gulf Islands, we will bill for the cost of any ferry sailings.

While it depends however, you should allow 2 to 6 hours depending on the size of the vessel. 

We will send you a questionnaire prior to commencement of the survey.  In order to do an effective survey access to all parts of your vessel is essential.  We will do our best to leave it in good condition however, it is common to empty lockers etc.

Yes, it is most often a requirement by insurance company to have the vessel hauled out as part of the survey.  In some cases the insurance company may waive this.  It is the responsibility of the owner to verify with their insurance company.

Yes!  We will travel to where the boat is located.

The report will be provided within one week from when the survey was completed.  It can be done faster if needed, this will need to be pre-arranged.
